A Laboratory Technician is responsible for critical laboratory procedures and duties in the production of veterinary products. Technicians may work with a variety of technical equipment while completing formulation, filling, and freeze drying procedures. At all times technicians must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to all safety and company policies, perform duties assigned by department supervision
Some of the duties may include, but are not limited to:
Perform procedures including aseptic work, formulations, filling vaccines, freeze drying, etc.
Perform calculations/formulations of products intended for poultry, small animal, and large animal
Maintain accurate and reliable record keeping including charts, log books, and all pertinent documentation
Communicate any unusual and/or non-routine occurrences when performing tasks
Cleaning work areas, prepare, clean and sterilize glassware and equipment for use
Equipment setup and operation
NOTE: This position will work a staggered shift that may include work on weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Education Minimum Requirement:
Minimum High School diploma/ GED
Required Experience and Skills:
Applicant must be able to work flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the department.
Must have the ability to read, write and understand technical information and to effectively communicate information to colleagues at various levels.
May come in contact with acids, bases, Thimerosal, disinfectants.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Preferred candidate would have experience in a laboratory setting.
Prefer training and experience with Aseptic Clean Room Behavior
Competent with Microsoft Office (Windows and Excel)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
